Foods to Eat If You Overeat

Of course the Holidays can bring us some great gifts but they also can bring on extra added pounds we don’t want.
As discussed on Dr. Greenbergs radio show there are some things you can do to help fight the fat if you went a little overboard on the Holiday Hoopla. came out with a great quick list:
Drink Orange Juice- studies suggest that the antioxidant-like compounds in OJ, may offset the heart-damaging effects of a calorie- and fat-laden meal.
Eat Fruit- Eating antioxidant-rich fruitsincluding berries, grapes, kiwi and cherrieshelps minimize the harmful free-radical damage that occurs after a meal.
Drizzle Vinegar- Having a tablespoon of vinegar with your meal, perhaps drizzled on your salad, may temper the spike in blood sugar that occurs after eating a big, carbohydrate-rich meal.
Drink wine- The antioxidants in red wine may reduce the negative impact of high-fat foods by lowering levels of a compound — produced in the body after eating fat — that’s linked with heart disease. Just remember to drink in moderation and do not drink if you are driving.
Add Spices to Your Meals- Researchers think the spice blend may help slow fat absorption-and the antioxidants help mop up harmful free radicals produced when you overeat.
