Dr. Lakshmi Nair, MD is a board eligible Plastic Surgeon and Long Island native. She is well-known for her keen aesthetic eye and having the highest standards for her surgical outcomes and patient care. She is detail-oriented, a perfectionist in the operating room and dedicated to delivering results that are truly remarkable.
Dr. Nair trained at a selective combined BS/MD program graduating summa cum laude at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute/Albany Medical College. She then completed an integrated six-year Plastic Surgery Residency at University of Texas Medical Branch where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.
Dr. Nair has contributed to the field of Plastic Surgery through research, speaking at national meetings, and publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals. She particularly enjoys performing mommy makeovers, massive weight loss body contouring, breast lift/reduction/augmentation, tummy tuck, complex scar revisions, lipoma/benign cyst excisions, facelift/necklift, blepharoplasties and labiaplasties.
