Breast Augmentation: Case 16
Breast Augmentation: Case 16 Breast Implant Exchange with Bilateral Breast Pocket Repairs
This 21 year old female consulted with Dr. Greenberg as she had had a prior breast augmentation with saline breast implants by another surgeon out of state. She complained of lateralization and bottoming out of her breast implants, both of which were contributing to a large and very unnatural breast appearance. After a thorough consultation and physical evaluation it was determined that the best course of action would be a bilateral implant exchange with bilateral breast pocket repairs (inferior and lateral) and to supplement this with the insertion of an acellular dermal matrix (ADM) to help thicken up the very thin tissue of her lower breast. Below are the patients' pre-op and 9 month post-op photos, and as you can see she now has much better breast shape and implant placement.
